If it wasn't for Jim I wouldn't have been able to go any further in my clients homeloan due to them already being pre-approval for a Teacher Mortgage Purchase with their bank. Unfortunately, their bank was impossible to reach & we needed to switch to someone reliable. The origination process was fantastic with Mike he answered our calls and all of our questions. Had an initial contact with us and made us comfortable with using him. However the processing underwriting phase was less than pleasant. Emails that went unanswered for days or not at all. Understandable of all the document request however they seemed last minute and rushed by underwriting which was overwhelming at times and stressful. The final days there were issues that Atleast we felt should’ve been resolved well before the days before closing. IE a survey error. The survey was received well before the week of closing and the issue with it wasn’t noticed until days before hand. Overall the process is truly stressful and there could be processes or checklist in place to prepare the buyer slightly better. I get the service and approval process was great just was not a fan of how the underwriting went.
